Description

Here is my photomanipulation concept of Taurus. I did this one to follow my other ones (link below). This one is called 'Knight of the Forever Green' to reflect the fixed and steady quality of the a sign. It's not really exact, but I don't know, this is just how I felt about this sign this time round. I just felt she should be somewhat stronger, more determined than my other depiction of this sign. I would have liked a more 'earthy' feel to the Taurus sign, more dirt and browns and reds, but it seems I've yet to hone my skills that far! For those who have been watching my work, this is the second time I'm doing the sun zodiac. My original series is here (but with a different medium of course, and I still like that series, but with everything, I like to also see myself grow in my hobby): HERE.

TAURUS:

Strengths: Reliable, patient, practical, devoted, responsible, stable

Weaknesses: Stubborn, possessive, uncompromising

Taurus likes: Gardening, cooking, music, romance, high quality clothes, working with hands

Taurus dislikes: Sudden changes, complications, insecurity of any kind, synthetic fabrics

I do actually really like what I did with Taurus here. This final piece reminds me of how I felt after I finished Cancer. I was really satisfied by the amount of work I put into it. I'm pretty used to doing simple images, but when it comes out, with a large number of layers, I really feel good. I like how Taurus came out!
